The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York and Consular Section of the Uzbekistan Embassy in Washington D.C. handle almost all usual consular services: protection of the interests of Uzbekistan citizens in the United States, issuance of visas, passports, authentication of documents for legal effect in Uzbekistan, notarization and registration of birth, death, marriage, divorce, etc.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

1. A completed Visa Application form which is obtainable at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Washington D.C., Consulate General in New York City, or authorized travel agencies.

2. Original passport (not a photocopy).

3. One (1) photo of passport size.

4a. Visa Fee for US Citizens: up to four years (multiple entries) - US $ 45.00

4b. Visa Fee (except US Citizens) for a period of:

up to one week stay - US $ 40.00
up to 15 days stay - US $ 50.00
up to one month stay - US $ 60.00
up to three months stay - US $ 80.00

NOTE: Processing time after application is accepted is 7 working days.

For a processing time of less than 7 days, the fee increases by 30 percent. For a processing time of less than 3 days, the fee increases by 50 percent. In case of applying for several entries, the fee increases by $10.00 per entry (except for US Citizens).

For Multiple Entry visas (except US Citizens):
Up to six months - US $ 150.00 Up to one year - US $ 250.00

NOTE: Business single-entry and multiple entry visas are issued upon the confirmation received by the Embassy of Uzbekistan from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

5. For private visits, an Invitation Letter issued by the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Uzbekistan is required.
